Use Case

Triad Health Project

Red Ribbon Run & AIDS Walk Identity

For a rebrand and renaming of this annual citywide event, Triad Health Project hired A Great Idea to create a memorable, iconic brand system and campaign.

"A Great !dea totally exceeded our expectations for the logo and branding materials he/they created for our fundraising event. We rebranded our event this year and A Great !dea made the process go smoothly, helping us create a logo and marketing materials that perfectly reflect the spirit and purpose of our fundraising 5K. We’ve gotten great feedback on the new logo and branding from our supporters and donors."—Paula Barger, Development Director
  • A Step Ahead

Known as Winter Walk for AIDS for the first 25 years, the Piedmont Triad’s signature HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event is reintroduced in 2017 as the Ron Johnson Red Ribbon Run & AIDS Walk. The Triad Health Project looked to expand the event and give it a memorable, consistent mark. The final brand designed by A Great Idea leveraged the power and potency of the red ribbon while suggesting movement.

  • Getting Word Out

In addition to the printed marketing, A Great Idea also prepared digital billboards (see above) and environmental graphics for the event. Triad Health Project also incorporated the brand into their social media engagement strategy to encourage sharing of information about the event.
